Why does my dog smell like fish?

if its coming from urine it could be a urinary tract infection treated with antibiotics but you can try to put a little apple vinegar in water first. if that doesn't work take to vet for antibiotics. if it has a old rusty metal fish smell its your dogs anal glands. watch a youtube vid for how to

Unless your dog is enjoying a fish based diet and fish broth water, chances are high that this smell is due to anal glands, which need to be expressed. Other signs may including the dog scooting their bottom on the floor/ground and licking/chewing his bottom. The dog needs help emptying them before they burst.
