Why does my dog pee on his front legs?

Some breeds are more susceptible to doing this than others. Its generally a matter of anatomy and the way a dog is formed. Some male dogs pee is just naturally "aimed" towards it's front legs. I've even seen some dogs accidentally pee on their belly and front legs. His owners kept baby wipes on them at all times for incidents like that.

My dog does this too. The only time he doesn't pee on his front leg is if he can pee on a step or another lowrised area. But that doesn't always fix it either. I also keep wet wipes by the door an have trained him to stand on a table while he gets his feet wiped down.
