I received a text saying my request is booked but I haven't heard from the sitter. How do I set up a meet and greet with a first time sitter?

I just booked a request (with Charlotte L. for the first time) and received a Rover text saying that it is confirmed. How do I contact the actual sitter to see if she can meet me and my dog before Wednesday? How do I discuss with her the time to drop my dog off at her house?

Message the sitter from your inbox and request a Meet & Greet at which you can get to her and discuss your needs and expectations. The stay is not finalized, if you haven't paid yet.

When I receive a new sitting request, I always ask the owner and dog to come over to my home and get know to each other and see if it seems like a good fit. That is your right as a customer to meet and discuss things with the sitter before finalizing the booking. Just reach out via messaging and discuss these things with the sitter you've selected. Rover actually encourages customers to contact more than one sitter and interview them before selecting one for a stay. Nothing is ever final. If you don't hear back from the sitter, you haven't paid anything and you can contact others or let Rover's Customer Service help you out.
