Just like when humans stomachs gurgle - food is digesting!
food may be digesting or they could be hungry
Gurgling noises are usually not a bad thing. They are usually just digesting. It could be a sign of a stomach ache though. Pay attention to if he gets sick or not afternoon you notice the gurgling.
