It looks like my dog has something in his eyes, because he's had watery eyes for a while now. How can I check if he has sensitive eyes or if this is an allergic reaction? Is it normal for dogs to have watery eyes?
"Tears" can be caused by many different things. Often times tears are produced due to either allergies or stress. However, if is yellow-ish in color, it can be a sign of an underlying illness or infection. Try to look at his eyes and see if there is anything in them that is causing the irritation. Please do not give him eye drops unless your vet specifically tells you to.
