How do you decide on puppy rates?

Do you guys charge different house sitting rates for, say, an 11 month old puppy versus a 3 month old puppy? There's a world of difference in the amount of attention and care these two need, from what I can tell (although I am frankly totally inexperienced in house sitting for puppies in general). I recently was asked to take care of a 3 month old rhodesian ridgeback puppy, recently from his breeder, that can't stay in his crate for more than an hour without an accident & chews everything (including my clothes) constantly... it's made me realize that $3 over my normal rate seems way too low for the amount of dedication this will require. Thoughts? What would you guys charge, relative to your normal rate? I guess I wasn't thinking of such young puppies when I established my rate.

For a while i was not taking puppies, but now have decided to try it again. My puppy rate is 15.00 more then my regular rate as they do need more care and time.

Thanks, that does seem to make sense. Do you charge $15 more for all puppies under the age of 1 or just really young ones?

Anyone under 1 year. I have had some really good ones close to a year for a short time but would still charge puppy rate.
