Why does my boxer shed so much?

April to May is the heaviest shedding period for Boxers. Many dog owners think that if their dog has a smooth coat they do not need to be brushed. However if you stay on tract with brushing it will help significantly. If you still feel that the shedding is extreme you might want to check with your vet about adding a supplement or changing his/her diet.
