How to leave feedback for a sitter you scheduled for a consult but never showed or answered text?

Is there a way to leave feedback on a sitter that you scheduled for a consultation and pending week stay but never showed up? Seems unfair to not be able to share the full and true experience so others know who may potentially need a dog sitter.

That is a GREAT idea. There should definitely be a way to reflect a no-show situation instead of only reviewing Sitters for work done. Rover Support readily takes suggestions. This is a good one!

Reviews can only be left after a completed stay. You can, however, contact Rover Customer Support by phone (888-453-7889) or use the online messaging system accessed through the Help tab above to express your dissatisfaction with the no-show sitter.

Thank you. I hope they will enable this feature. As a pet owner, I want to know that the sitter is great and her response to commitments prior to booking is part of the overall assessment. It's about professionalism. I'll contact the messaging system. Thank you.

I am so sorry you have had this experience! I definitely understand that it is frustrating if someone you want to hire doesn't show up for the "interview". To my knowledge, reviews and testimonials are only for clients who have completed a stay with the sitter. However, I would encourage you to reach out to Rover support and let them know about your experience- they are generally very good about taking feedback!
