Why does my dog have dandruff?

Simple things such as daily brushing, a balanced diet and dietary supplements can go a long way to sorting the problem out.
Dandruff is usually a sign of dry skin. Wild salmon oil in his food usually helps.
Dandriff can be due to stress in certain environments or just dry skin. Try a medicated bath from petco or get it professionally done and allow the shampoo to sit for at least 10 minutes after massaging into coat then rinse. You can also add fish oil to your dogs food to moisten the coat.
