Once old enough you can definitely bath your puppy! I eould use a shampoo that is puppy safe such as hypoallergenic. Make sure to dry them appropriately so they don't get too cold.

If he is 6 weeks or older. The way I made bathing fun for my puppy was- I first introduced him to puppy wipes and gradually introduced him to water. Dogs need the oil in their skin during the winter months. During the summer you can bath them once every month but only if they smell or are dirty. Puppies shouldn't be bathed for at least 8 weeks or more. If you need to bath them because they have feces on them then bath them as you would a baby.

I find that if your puppy is dirty, smelly, sticky or all of the above, then puppy bath time is definitely in order. Even a pup who doesn't seem to get really dirty needs a bath every now and then (perhaps every other month).
