When can you shower a puppy?

Dogs need the oil in their skin during the winter months. During the summer you can bath them once every month but only if they smell or are dirty. Puppies shouldn't be bathed for at least 8 weeks or more
As long as you do it carefully, and with the right grooming tools/shampoos (mild shampoo, not human brand) , you can bathe a puppy that's just a few weeks old. In the past, people believed that bathing a pup would damage their natural fur and coat, but that has been debunked. It's also good to start early, so that your dog has a positive association with bath time and it will be easier in the future :)
When he s 6 weeks or older. The way I made bathing fun for my puppy was- I first introduced him to puppy wipes and gradually introduced him to water.
