Many experts believe that when dogs tilt their heads, they are trying to adjust their outer ears to better pinpoint and understand a noise and it's location. In other words, your pup may just be trying to better understand you because he loves you! :)

Most often, a dog will tilt his head to the side in order to hear more clearly. When they turn and tilt their heads the ear becomes more exposed in an up-and-more-forward position
