While Natural Balance dog food is ranked very high according to dog food advisor, because of it's balance of Protein/Carbs/Fat, it also depends on your individual pup. For instance, you may want to consider allergies, taste preferences, of health concerns (weight loss, kidney friendly, etc). But in a general sense, yes - it's a good brand :)
