Why is my dog always thirsty?

asked 2017-03-26 20:21:25 -0600

If I leave a full bowl of water out, my dog will drink all of it one after the other. He'll even drink until he throws up water. Why does he keep doing this?

Many things can affect how much your dog drinks, from weather to activity level to diet. Many conditions can lead to excessive thirst or dehydration in your dog, including liver disease, diabetes, Cushing's disease, cancer, diarrhea, fever, infection, and kidney disease, please check with your vet
