Why does my dog lick the carpet?

Your pet may be licking simply because he is bored , or is feeling stressed or anxious. Some dogs lick the carpet, objects or even their own fur compulsively due to medical problems. Contact your veterinarian as soon as possible to have your dog evaluated.
