Paypal. Business or Personal?

Hi Sitters! How many of you use PayPal business? How many use PayPal personal? And, why?

I use paypal business although not for any particular reason I imagine the taxes and everything would be similar but it is easier to document.

I use personal. Since Rover keeps track of bookings, I can just go back and add up my earnings.

If PayPal charges fees, and they charge 1%, why does Rover state "Payments redeemed via PayPal are released within 1-4 days, with no fees."

Gail, because it is true. Rover assumes all the fees. As a recipient, Paypal takes nothing from the Rover transfers that go into your account. You will receive the full amount that you transfer from Rover.

You do know, when you are in PayPal. And you are about to transfer your money... it gives you 2 options. You either, click the free one. Or the not free one. It’s not hard to figure out

I use personal, whether you use personal or business, you would still need to fill taxes. Paypal will have a tax form if your make more than $20,000 per year

The personal doesn't have the fees the business one has. But how can you get away with saying it's a personal account, if you're going through a business like Rover?
