Bark control for neighbor's dog?

I am thinking of investing in a bark-control device for the new neighbor's dog. He barks constantly. They moved in about 6 weeks ago and he stresses out my dog and some of our Rover dogs, even when they are in the house. If I can't get control over that situation I will lose a ton of business. Meet & Greets will be a joke with all that noise.

I don't know what else to do about it but those devices seem a little implausible. Anyone have any experience/suggestions about this situation?

P.S. I did go over to their house and knock on the door when the dog was barking at 9:45 a couple nights ago. All they did was bring him in, ignore me at the door, then let barkbox back out 20 minutes later. I plan on trying again some random afternoon instead of waiting until he's out barking late at night. I won't be confrontational. I plan to ask if there is anything I can do to help since their dog seems very stressed out.

I see that you offer Walking services; perhaps you should try a different route, explain that you a dog walker through Rover.com and that you'd love the opportunity to take their dog for a walk during the day/evening to help relieve them of their energy and let them explore outside of their normal realm? Since they live next door (and assuming that the dog is friendly), you could even offer them a special rate (maybe $15 instead of your regular $18) as you'll be saving on drive time, gas, mileage, etc.

That's a possibility. It's sort of what I had in mind when I said I was going to offer help with their dog. However I really do want to also find out what anyone might know about those anti-barking devices.

Heck, even offer to do it for free if it will improve your quality of life!!

Like others have said, I would offer help or advise. Tell them that their dog is disruptive, but also tell them that you completely understand what it is like to have a dog that barks a lot, and let them know that you would be willing to help walk or play with the dog.

If nothing you do helps, you might just have to report them to animal control. They will probably just get a warning, but sometimes that's all they need to realize their dog is disrupting the neighborhood.

I had someone call the cops on me for a barking Rover dog who had only been outside for 2 hours while I cleaned in the middle of the day. Check your city ordinances and report them!

Also: Do you know if the dog is friendly or aggressive? If they are unfriendly and the dog is barking after your city ordinance noise nuisance laws you can call the non emergency and report them the next day. People like that don't care.
