Rover sitters and their clients are covered by premium insurance for each booking. This link takes you to the details of the plan https://www.rover.com/insurance/ As an owner your home is covered with liability insurance should damage or theft occur while a sitter stays in your home. All Rover sitters are heavily vetted and a background check is performed before they are accepted into the program.

Sitters are independent contractors and should comply with local laws and regulations concerning licensing if required. Bonding typically covers employees, Rover sitters are not employees and bonding is not offered .

Hope this helps give you peace of mind
