I was given a name of someone who is a Rover sitter. I can't find her on the list of sitters near my home. Can I search the sitter's list by name?
Hi, Ross! Unfortunately you are not able to filter sitters by name through the Rover site. I think the best thing to try would be to do a Google search of something like "[name] Rover.com [city, st]" to see if you can find her that way. Good luck!
You can contact Rover Support and ask them to send you a link to that sitter's profile page. There is a link at the top of the page for "Help" and a place at the bottom to contact Rover in writing. An alternative is to call Rover at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Ross, if you can't find a specific sitter, then that could potentially mean that sitter is booked for the timeframe you are requesting or the sitter has set their profile to "away" or "only repeat clients." If someone who has booked this sitter before recommended this sitter, ask the person that referred the sitter to copy and past the sitter's specific profile link in a message to you. All previous client's have access to their sitter's profile. Or possibly adjust the search map to see if different sitters show up in different areas. If those tips don't work, then contact Rover's Customer Support team!
