How should I groom a yorkie?

Brush your Yorkie to remove all tangles from the coat. Bathe him/her in warm water with a non-irritating soap, such as Espree Plum Perfect. Dry him, clip his nails, and clean the inside of his ears with ear cleaning solution and cotton balls.
Yorkie hair will need to be trimmed once a month. Only use dog-specific clippers and scissors, and please take him to a professional if you do not feel comfortable clipping him yourself.
