How to get bookings after the holidays?

This was my first holiday sitting for rover. I was very booked and had a good amount of drop-in visits and boarders throughout the holidays. Now that the holidays are coming to an end, so are my current bookings. How do I continue to get bookings after the holiday season?

Did you start to pick back up? I'm getting maybe 1-2 calls each week right now.

Did you ever request the free 100 business cards when you signed up and afrer completing Rover 101? I'd start there if you haven't already and put the cards in pet-friendly places. Make sure that you request clients to rate your services after they have been completed as this will boost you in the ratings in your area. Even the clients you serviced weeks ago, request they rate you on Rover. Word of mouth will keep them trickling in. And, you can post on Craigslist. It will most likely be a bit slower from here on out until Spring / Summer but it's still a good time to slowly build.

All the Best!

There is no such thing as free 100 cards going on in 2017. That was over a year ago.

I got a code for 100 free busines cards and used it last month. I've only been a sitter for a couple of months

The winter months are typically slow for boarding

January and February were very slow for me for boarding the last 2 years. People are going back to work, kids are going back to school, weather is usually crappy, so not many people are traveling after the holidays. Read the suggestions on Rover and in other posts here about how to market your business.
