Does this count as oral medication experience?

Hi! I used to give our previous dog, and a family member's dog, their medication (pills) with their food or with a treat, as directed. However, I never held their mouth open and dropped pills or liquid medications down their throats like I've seen some people do.

Anyway, is that what they mean by oral medication?

I think your answer is up to you! If your profile said you were okay giving oral medication, and you received a dog that did need you to give the dog pills by holding their mouth open, would you be comfortable doing so? You can always clarify with owners on how they medicate their dogs before accepting a reservation - maybe they're okay with hiding pills in treats or food like you're used to. Don't ever accept a dog that requires medication if the owners tell you it has to be given in a way you're not okay with. Doing so would put yourself and the dog at risk! Just be honest and up front with owners and everyone will be happy!

Yes. And if you need to learn the other, you will in time. This can also be discussed in detail at the meet & greet and/or with owner demonstrating their technique upon arrival.
