How does the math work?

For example. We are sitting for one dog from 12/24 in the AM to 12/26 in the PM. Rover is charging client $56.00. $25.00 x 2 = $50.00. What constitutes the other $6.00?

HI there: Looking at your profile, you entered a Holiday rate, thereby equaling $56.00. The 2016 Rover Holidays are here: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

Mary is correct about the holiday rate, but you should be charging your customers for 3 days at your holiday rate because the dog is not being picked up in the AM on the last day. You will be caring for the dog into the evening on the last day and the client is not paying anything for that. Take a look on this board for the number of sitters who haven't taken this into account and then complain about being taken advantage of. You know their dropoff and pickup times. It is easy to modify and add on the charge for the last day.
