What is the best durable dog toy?

My dog loves to chew and can get the squeaker out or rip a limb off a toy in just a few minutes. What are your favorite, durable dog toys that you would recommend for a dog who loves to chew?

Chuckit! balls. Over 1600 customers at Amazon gave it perfect score of 5 stars and I've watched a small dog that destroys most toys not damage those at all while playing on his own with it.

My dogs love Nylabone bones. They come in different flavors and last a really long time. My aggressive chewer Lab use to chew them all the time and the bonus is that it kept his teeth very clean.

I have a tough chewer too. Kongs last but, she really isn't very interested in them for long. I put peanut butter inside to tempt her. That only lasts as long as the peanut butter remains. She destroys anything plush or stuffed. She even destroys thin plastic toys, especially with squeakers inside. Nylabones seem to be a huge hit. We also give her hooves and bones. Those are favorites. Good luck!

I have three VERY aggressive chewers and I love to give them a kong with their food in it. I also really like the unstuffed toys. Some of them even come with replaceable squeakers! They are a more durable material than most dog toys. You can get them here: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18869&cmpid=sc (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product...)

I get my dog those red balls that you can buy at any pet store. He can chew on those all day and not break or tear them. Hope that will help you.

I guess that's what those red balls are called I have one of those myself.

Kongs are great. A friend gave me a dragon dog toy when we adopted our dog Jan. 10th of this year. It has lasted through a Lot of dogs, dogs tugging and a puppy chewing on it. The tail was chewed off but it is double or triple stitched so the whole toy doesn't come apart. It is made from a material called "chew technology". You can find it on http://amazon.com, search under dog toys for "chew technology". They have them for small, med and large dogs. I Love this toy..

Benebones are really good. They are like Nylabones, but they're flavored (bacon, chicken, peanut butter). You can find them on Amazon and some independent pet stores.

All Cycle Dog toys are made from recycled bike tires and are EXTREMELY durable. I have a monster chewer and she has't even made a dent in her hippo!! http://www.cycledog.com/product-category/toys/ecolast-rubber-toys/ (http://www.cycledog.com/product-categ...)

My favorites chew toys are frozen Kong or Clever K9 with peanut butter and American made rawhides. My favorite play toys are Chuck It.

Antlers! They're edible, but they last soooo long. Our dogs especially love the split antlers so they can get to the marrow. I also love Kong toys, but I also got a bunch for a dollar at a garage sale instead of buying them full-priced, so I'm biased.

Hands down you gotta try the Hol-ee Mo-lee Dog ball - it's the most durable and fun to play with for my heavy chewer, and we love that you can put treats inside or play fetch with it and it doesn't bounce weird. I chose it based on reviews I read. We got it at http://www.Petmountain.com (I researched for lowest price and this site had the best deals - you can usually catch it during a free shipping offer). We also like the nylabones (sold there too). So far haven't found any better toys. The Hol-ee has many shapes (one for bowling too) but this one is our favorite: http://www.petmountain.com/product/ball-toys-for-dogs/11442-503713/jw-pet-jw-pet-hol-ee-mol-ee-extreme-rubber-dog-toy.html (http://www.petmountain.com/product/ba...)
