pick up and drop off for client?

Are dog sitters able to pick a clients dog up at their house and drop them back off when the client gets home from work. I am just wondering because there is no price for pickup and drop off for sitters. I ask because i am extremly busy and work late some days

Hi, Paul. While Rover's insurance covers transportation and so it would be okay for a sitter to do so, I don't believe that there is a filter to find sitters who would specifically offer that service. I would suggest contacting a few sitters near you and asking if that would be something they can and would be willing to do. Since there isn't a set way of setting a rate for pick-up/drop-off, they may charge you a flat rate or add a fee per mile. Good luck!

Hi there! I had a potential client ask me to pick up her dog and I agreed to do it. She lived about a mile away and it was no problem for me to do this for her. She appreciated it very much, and it just worked out. I think it depends on the situation. This particular situation made sense for us :)

Hi Paul, If you look under additional services you will be able to see who offers it. I would also suggest talking to the sitter you like and ask if they would consider it.
