What are treats?

You earn treats by answering and asking questions. The more treats you have, the more trust the community places in you when you answer a question, insinuating that you are a reliable source.

It's basically an arbitrary incentive that Rover created for you to actively participate in the community. Similar to an upvote in Reddit, it's a "vote" on the usefulness of your answer/question. There's also a leaderboard, so if you have a high number of "treats" everyone can see your profile - which may help in getting your Guests :)
