what should I put in a thank you note?

So I wanted to make some small thank you notes to give to first time customers along with some type of goodie bag. I'm trying to figure out the best way to put something on there that asks them to leave a positive review if they are satisfied with their service. For example "We hope your pup had a great experience staying with us and we would greatly appreciate your positive review"

do you think thats too much? I dont want to sound too needy.

I always leave a goodie bag and a thank you note, but I never ask for a review. The goody bag is always appreciated, and I always get a 5-star review. :)

That's a good idea, Sarah! What do you typically pack in your goodie bags?

So... Sarah ...what's in the Bag? :) :D :)

Needy sounding or not, potential customers look at reviews. I am a client as well as a sitter, and I certainly do!

Though all my guests go home with a goodie of some sort - every single time they stay - I don't send thank you notes per se. Instead, an hour or two after a guest's departure, I send an email through Rover that reads something like this:

Dear Sam,

Thank you so much for the opportunity to host sweet Rover. He was a wonderful guest and we look forward to his next visit!

Soon, you will receive an email from Rover asking for a review. I would be grateful if, once you get settled in, you could take a moment to write a sentence or two.

Thanks again!

Warmly,
