Does my response time ever change on my profile?

I've been very good about replying or writing to my clients right away, but the one time I didn't reply after about 40 mins (due to being in class) my response time says I reply in under a hour. Is there any way I could "improve" this?

I think they look back at the last 10 responses to average your response time. "Under an hour" is not bad at all, but I know that if you usually have "Within a few minutes" as your response time, you like to keep it that way - I do too! You're still fine....if you don't believe me, look at the other sitters in your zip code....most likely, some take a few days to respond!
