Can I divide two 30-minute visits into three 20-minute visits?

My client (in the neighborhood - 60 second drive away) paid for 2 visits per day but asked me to come over 3 times per day, which is truly no problem at all. I figured I'd do three 20-minute visits and everything would be hunky-dory.

Today, for the first time, I used the Rover report card. When I wrapped things up and tried to turn off the timer, it warned me the owner had paid for 30 minutes and I had not yet fulfilled that obligation. I stayed the full 30 minutes because was afraid of how a short visit would affect my ratings (since this is my first drop-in gig).

Thoughts, Rover Friends?

I would contact rover support but I would think you need three visits vs two booked, you can always adjust the rates so you make the same money.

My concern is that when I leave the visit, the Report Card feature gives me a big warning that I have not fulfilled my 30-minute commitment. I'm afraid that will count against me, even though I've still given an hour for the day, just divided in 3 instead of 2.

It sounds to me that you're stuck with doing 30-minute visits if you want to use the timer. I would just not use it, if you have that option.

Thanks. I decided to take my own advice (to other sitters who ask about ratings) and just not worry about it. Everything will even out.
