A past stay is still being marked as "current"?

I had a pet sitting job that was for all day on 7/17 (not an overnight job; it was from 9 am until early evening). The owner paid me and I sent her some photos via the app of her dog. But then I notice that when I go to my messages with her, the 7/17 is still being marked as a current stay. Is this a glitch or normal? I know the payment won't process for 48 hours so is that why it's still being marked as current?
