How do I cancel an existing reservation?

If it were me, I would contact the boarder. We have a "cancel" button available on each upcoming stay. And, it might be polite for the sitter to feel like they're the first point of contact (since that's how the booking began). They might have someone else who was turned down due to unavailability, and could communicate something faster.
It's better for the sitter if the client officially cancels the reservation through the website. But it is courteous to let the sitter know that you are cancelling your stay.
