Rover showing one spot available, but I already have a booking?

I usually only accept boarding for 1 dog per day (some exceptions) and have accepted a booking for June 8 to June 12. This booking has been confirmed by the owner and is all set. Because of other circumstances, I wanted to mark myself unavailable for all other services offered during those dates, so I went to my calendar, selected 6/8 to 6/12 and clicked "Mark as Unavailable". After I did this, I was worried this would somehow affect the booking I had already accepted (and wanted to keep) so I went back to my calendar, reselected the dates and increased the Boarding option to 1 dog. But Rover is still showing me has having 1 space available for these dates, when technically I'm already booked. I only want to take this 1 dog for these dates. I now know I should have just decreased the numbers for House Sitting, Walking, etc. instead of Marking as Unavailable, but how do I correct it? I don't want to receive additional requests for these dates, but I want the owner of the original booking to still be on the calendar.

Don't worry, Carly. You can mark yourself as unavailable and keep your booked clients. You can even book a stay if you have already marked yourself unavailable. I do it all the time. When I get a request for certain dates, and it sounds like a decent fit from the conversation with the owner, I will mark myself as unavailable for the requested dates. Then after the M&G, and when the client is ready to book, I will book the stay. As for why it says you still have an opening when you have your one allotted space filled, I don't know :-/

Thank you , Shannon. This is exactly what I was looking for! I have a meet and greet for a potential client and have already received two other requests for the same dates!
