How does Rover.com compare with other sites?

I recently signed up and created a profile with another well known pet care site. I thought it was a reputable company. I'm very skeptical, it seems the majority of the posts looking for providers are scams/fake on this other site. I did interview with 1 person and was hired for regular dog care. I believe in offering compassionate and knowledgeable pet care and would like to be represented by an honest company. From what I've read Rover seems like a great company. I look forward to your advice.

Rover is awesome. I once got a robocall from them about a lost Rover dog in my area, and they would pay me to look for him. (I couldn't, I had to work, but the emergency response really floored me). Customer service is pretty responsive, They pay me on time when I request payouts. I've had to raise my rates recently because I couldn't handle the amount of requests. Honestly, I can't complain much about Rover.

I can only speak for myself; I joined Rover a year ago and have had only positive experiences.

1) The pet owners I have met are wonderful people.

2) Rover Support has been very responsive to my questions and emails.

3) The other sitters on this blog are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

4) I won a trip to Hawaii (true story!).

5) I have earned nearly enough money to take my son to Italy as a senior trip.

Like Shannon and Carmen, I've only had a positive experience here with Rover. The clients are great, the customer service is great, and I enjoy the extras such as this board. I have also been contacted by scammers from another service that I belong to, which I just ignored. I believe Rover is a top-notch pet care service and I'm glad I belong to the Rover pack!

I, too, was contacted by scammers associated with another site. But I haven't had that problem through Rover. It is a well-run, honest company.
