Can I sign up to be a dog walker without signing up to be a dog-sitter?

I am staying in an apartment in which I can't have pets stay over. Would it be possible to become only a dog walker through your site?

Janie, I looked at your profile and you have every service turned to away status. Yes you can offer walking as your only service, but you should also consider drop-ins. I'm 99% walker and I've been fully booked since March 2016. Good Luck - Walt

Hi Janie: YES! I only offer dog walking and drop in visits, and then overnight stays (at the client's home) for past and current clients only. Dog walking and drop in visits are fairly new...I believe these services were "unleashed" last fall.

I'd add that depending on the amount of demand in your area and the number of people offering dog walking, you may be placed on a wait list, which means your profile would not be visible when someone searched dog walkers or pet care visits. Of course, if that happened, that would change at some point based on supply&demand, as determined by Rover's automated system.

Yes, although you may not show up very often in searches verses someone else who offers more.....
