What do you think is the most common dog name?

I've had 3 separate requests in the last week for dogs named Theo/Theodore/Teddy. I never thought of that as a common dog name before. I'm just curious what names other sitters see a lot.

Plus, I think it would be fun if ROVER did a "Top 10 puppy/doggie names of 20XX" list every year. Seems like that would be easy info to pull from their data base.

OMG it happened again. Inside of 10 days I had 3 dogs named Kobe/Coby/Kobie. I just find this phenomenon fascinating. LOL!!

Aaaaaand again. This time it is variations on Sam. I've had 2 named Sammy, 1 Sammie and a Samson in the last 2 weeks. CRAZY!!

I had a Teddi and a Teddy last week, along with a Lily. I have three different Lilys lined up for September.

Bailey and Bella are such common names. I have over 10 + clients that each have one of these names AHH!

Roxy, Rocky, Chloe, Spot, Rex, Fluff6, Whiskers,

Blue; Cooper; Roxie; Whiskey; Indy (or Indie); Maggie; Rosie; Sadie... I know there are lots more!

Max is the top popular for male. Bella for female. Sadie is a bit commom

Is that list based on ROVER clients or from some other data base? Just curious

That is a good list! My most common client names are Lilly and Scout. I have several Lillies and Three Scouts.

Sorry I didn't see that you'd asked a follow-up question. It says that Rover dug into its database, which would mean its clients and probably its sitters' dogs.
