She was very vigilant in asking us how we have trained Clyde and what we do to curve some of his bad habits; she used the same training techniques that we use so it wouldn’t confuse Clyde. Kathleen also has her own pup (Honey) who played with Clyde the whole week. He came home super tired and beat (which is rare for him). The following days after his visit were also a joy because he still listened and followed most of our commands/routines. Usually when we leave him at my moms, he comes home and acts differently (bad) because she lets him get away with so much. Overall, Kathleen did a great job with Clyde and we will definitely be having him boarded with her and Honey again!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 30 years my own and others have a lot of experience with puppies and senior dogs. I believe they are little kids and I’ve enjoyed teaching, playing and going on hikes to the creek everyday and having them experience love and exercise. Play time is the best time by providing them with lots of toys and games and teaching them social skills. I have a BA in child development and I am learning dogs have a lot of the same developments as children without language as a communication. However dogs have their own way of communication which has been a pleasure to learn. I’m currently enjoying retirement and I am available during the week from 10;00 AM until 8:00 PM. Weekends are also available if needed along with over nights I have a back yard that I’ve recently turned into a mini dog park. I also have a 4 year old plott hound who is friendly along with two new recently got 2 German shepherd pups who are very friendly. I am presently taking care of a senior dog who’s a Chihuahua. So it’s like a dog daycare with lots of love, games, toys and treats for training. We also field trip to the creek and walks daily.

They can't get in the car fast enough. Not to mention the whines and cries of excitement when we turn the corner to their house. They are showered with love and cuddles from their kiddos and i have picture proof to show it, lol. The daily updates, videos and pictures while we are away settles any stress knowing our pups are loved and in good hands. Hands down.... 100% recommend!!!”

Teresa was friendly and personal which made what could have been a difficult thing to do easy. although Teresa's experience is more in the line of larger dogs, it didn’t seem to compromise her attentiveness to my 14- and 7-pounders. my chihuahua was given ample lap time, which i ascertained by hew desire for even more lap time with me than usual upon arriving home. i would not hesitate to utilize this facility at any time in the future. i believe that my dogs Gruden and Scioscia were provided an opportunity to grow and mature by having to adapt to this sudden five-day change in their handling.”
About: Ive taken care of pets since I was 7. Ive been around all types of dogs and have learned to understand their needs and your needs! I will write a list of your dogs needs and make sure to strictly follow it so your pets feels comfortable with me in your home! I am home all day everyday and if I need to go out its for no longer than an hour or two! So your pet will not be lonley. I feed my dog in the morning and take him for a walk. Then we come inside and get some chores done. Then we play in the back yard or hop in the pool. Then I feed him again and go for another walk. Once he is home he is ready to watch tv and get some sleep!

About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. I have 1 spayed female 8 y/o Shepherd/Husky mix who is well tempered, a lead sled dog, well socialized to keep your pet company(friendly with both dogs & cats). I have a dog door that leads to a fenced in backyard. Regularly scheduled feeding, walks, & bathroom breaks.

My fence is a secure 6 feet high chain link fence. I am willing to check in on your furry family members, unable to stay at your home, however I am able to stop by every 1-4 hours depending on distance.

I have a 50lbs American staff that needs a lot of exercise to stay happy, and a 8lbs chihuahua Pomeranian mix that needs a lot of tug-a-war play time or he will get sad.
