“Mary-Kate was really great about helping us out with only a few days notice. She was right on time and communicated with me on how our dog was doing each time she stopped over to see her. She also sent pictures, which was much appreciated. I hate leaving our dog but this definitely made it easier knowing that Sofie was being well taken of.”

“We tasked Larry with a last minute booking for our two kittens. He did amazing with them and followed all instructions. He was very respectful of our apartment as well. Will definitely book again!”

“I am beyond satisfied and so pleased with Linda's care for my kitties while I was away. It can be so stressful for Pets (and Pet Parents), trying to make sure all is okay when out of town, especially when an older animal may need special care. Linda went above and beyond, was reliable, respectful and responsible (a huge snow storm didn't prevent her from visits) flexible-my plans changed due to a family issue, twice. Linda was calm and accommodating, which gave me such peace of mind. And my home was tidier than when I left! Most important- my cats are happy, apparently well fed and amused, and not traumatized by being away from their home or ignored. Linda's daily photos and "report card" was terrific! Thank you, Linda, for everything. Now my cats are back to ignoring me, I know they're probably waiting for Linda to come by...!”

“Nicole helped us out with an unexpected last minute trip and took great care of our boy. She went above and beyond in some awful weather too! 100% would recommend her anytime.”

“Great first experience hiring a pet sitter! Michelle was attentive, thorough, and left us detailed updates every time she came by the feed our cats. We’ll definitely hire again!”

“Don’t let the limited reviews scare you away! She watched both of my dogs for a week. She was on time, sent great pictures, monitored food intake and was quick to respond. Hope to have her watch the doggies again!”

About: I am not currently working so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to the pups! In general I'm quite flexible, I like to fly by the seat of my pants. Within the past 9 years my brother got a Basset Hound, (who has since passed), my parents got a German Shepherd, (who has since passed), and I got a Shepherd/Hound rescue pup. Man so I miss having pup around! I've quickly become the dog sitter because I like dogs more than people! I am very comfortable with big dogs and open to working with smaller dogs. I love taking long walks with the pups. If the dog is willing I love to teach them new things! I have all of the patience in the world for dogs. They are and will always be my number one priority at all times. I will respect and follow any rules or guidelines you have knowing full well how much work goes into training and wouldn't want to cause any set backs. I'm a stay at home mom of a 5 year boy. He goes everywhere with me and is also amazing with dogs. So if your dog just needs some company or a nice walk, I'm your girl! I care for any pet as if it were my own. Any specific directions given to me will be followed to a "T". I know how important pets are and I treat them as such.

“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”

“Evelyn was fantastic! At the meet and greet she showed up with pen and paper taking notes to make sure she didn’t miss anything important, which I loved since my dogs have a lot of instructions. She came on a walk with us on their regular route to see how they act and what they’re used to. I am very pleased to continue working with Evelyn in the future!”

“Kailey was great with our dogs during the drop in visit. One of our dogs is protective and weary of new people, but he was calm and comfortable with her. We’d definitely hire her again!”

About: I've had dogs in my family for over 30 years and cats for over 10 years! Animals should be treated with kindness and love because that's what they give us. I understand the time and attention that new pets require as well as the gentle and caring touch that all pets deserve. I've always been my friend's dog sitter and own two cats of my own. I'm a teacher so I will be free for most of the summer during the week. I enjoy the outdoors so would love to take your dog for a walk and also care for your cat or dog indoors. I've never had a fish but would happily check in on those water babies as well! At this time, I am not able to board your cat or dog in my apartment as I have two cats of my own. Thanks.

“Sandy was really great with taking care of my cat when I was on a two week trip! She was reliable and trustworthy. She took care of my (sometimes difficult) cat very well and provided picture/video updates with each visit! Would definitely use again. Thanks!”

“Kaelin was amazing! I felt comfortable leaving my dogs in her care she is very attentive and patient and she followed all of my instructions perfectly. Kaelin frequently updated me on my dogs progress and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were happy during my time away 🙂”

I’m originally from NYC but moved to the Albany area six years ago to be closer to my family. I graduated from Mercy University in 2023 with a degree in Behavioral Science, and I'm currently working towards my dream career as a Real Estate Investor! When I'm not busy with pets or work, I love hitting the gym, diving into a good book, exploring new restaurants, and enjoying quality time with my family and furry pals. I work from 8:30am- 5pm. But your pets will be with me at work or at home if I’m working remotely. Thoughout the day, I will take my client’s pets out for a walk around the neighborhood or a hike in a local park. (If your dog enjoys being around other dogs, I usually take them to a local dog park where they can run and play freely!) AND BEST OF ALL… Spend some quiet time together. Cuddle on the couch and give a gentle massage to help them relax! A little note for my wonderful repeat clients: Once you’re comfortable, I’m happy to offer convenient off-app payment options like Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Looking forward to taking care of your pets! For my client's pets - I send detailed updates throughout the day with very high-quality photos. If I'm providing 24-hour care, I'll send three quality updates (morning, afternoon, and evening). I like to keep my clients in the loop and connected to their pets in a way that relieves worry. I make sure that all pets are walked, fed, have water throughout the day, and receive lots of love/care! Since I have pets of my own, I like to watch body language and (if needed) I separate dogs if they seem uncomfortable or they aren’t understanding another dog’s language. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen and the goal is to keep everyone safe.
