“Vicki and William were so kind to my dog. She had a great time with their Lab Bentley. They updated frequently. Just from the pics I could tell Blossom was very relaxed and comfortable in their home”

About: Hi, I’m Kadi! I’ve spent over 10 years caring for dogs—everything from adopting a senior pup with medical needs to fostering and dog-sitting dogs of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is for you to feel your dog is completely safe, loved, and cared for, so you can truly enjoy yourself while you're away. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention (and I’ll send you lots of photos!). My husband, Jake, and I recently moved to Royal Oak from New Orleans, where we regularly dog-sat, fostered, and volunteered with a local rescue. We have two small rescue dogs—Omelette and Hollywood—who are used to visitors. Hollywood enjoys playtime but is also respectful of dogs who prefer to relax. I have particular experience caring for dogs with anxiety and provide a calm, loving space where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate extensions or adjustments as needed. I’m happy to continue any routines you have at home, including crate training, medication administration, potty training, and positive reinforcement. I typically walk dogs twice a day but adjust to each pup’s energy level and needs. For safety, dogs are never left unsupervised in my fenced backyard. In an emergency, I follow our agreed-upon plan and advocate for your dog as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out with any questions—looking forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! I work from home and have two sweet dogs of my own, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Since I’m home all day, your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I adjust the flow of the day to match each dog’s needs—whether that’s more activity, extra snuggles, or sticking to their usual routine. I’m also flexible with timing and happy to accommodate early mornings or late evenings if needed. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and preferences so I can care for them in the best way possible. I’m always nearby to offer attention, comfort, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to create a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your dog feels right at home. To help every dog feel secure—especially at mealtimes—I feed dogs separately to avoid stress or food guarding. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and never leave dogs unsupervised outside.

About: I have had dogs all my life and learned to care for them at a young age. Animals are truly a gift and deserve the utmost respect and compassion. I am almost always home and I enjoy the companionship of furry friends. As a pet owner, I know how daunting leaving your dog behind can be. I have a large home with a large fenced yard. In addition, I have the DogGuard electric fence system and a 30 foot tie out. Dogs are an important part of my life. I currently have 2 doodles. A 4 year old mini golden doodle and a 1.5 year old Bernedoodle. Both are neutered males and very friendly. They have yet to meet a dog that they didn’t love! I will care for your dog as if they were my own. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds. There are 1-2 walks/day, weather permitting. If you are looking for a comfy home with lots of attention for your pup while you’re away, then look no further. I am at home nearly all the time. My fur babies don’t like being home alone. I typically walk my dogs in the late morning and early evening. My house is set back from the road and fenced/walled off. I also have the dog guard electric fence and a 30 foot tie out. Every dog is fitted with an Apple AirTag for extra security. My home is safe and secure.

“I can’t say enough incredible things about Heather; our puppies loved daycare. Heather even took our high-energy pup (2yr old border collie) for runs, which made our pup, who’s usually bouncing off the walls after we get off work, laid back and calm. This was our second time using Heather for daycare, and we will continue to use her services as long as she is willing to have us.”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and one to two cats at a time. My entire family has pets and I’m the go to pet sitter. We have pets ranging from 1 year old to 18 years old, 2 lbs to 70lbs, and dogs of all breeds. I’ve pet sat for up to 4 dogs at a time, and loved every second of it. I’m only gone 2 days out of the week for an 8 hour work day, otherwise I’m working from home or in and out throughout the day for a few hours at a time. I have a fenced in yard so potty breaks are very easy. I also have time for morning and night walks as well as dog parks if wanted by the owner. When I’m watching someone’s dog, I pay close attention to where they are in the home, whether they need to go outside, play to get energy out, or rest. Feedings vary based on the dogs needs. I follow what the owner prefers for their pet care.
