“Emma was wonderful! She took great care of our dog and was very clean and respectful of our home. Our dog is on the high maintenance side and she was able to manage him very well. Highly recommend.”

“Alexander arrived on time and communicated throughout the stay. The house was tidy upon our return. Alexander put in additional effort by watering our plants when he noticed they were drooping and refilled my hummingbird feeders. Our two dogs were well cared for and we are sure they barely noticed we weren’t around!”

“Chantal was amazing with my dog. She had a hard time with new people but Chantal was calm and great and my dog warmed up very nicely. The house was left clean which was a huge relief 😅”

“Robynn watched our dog on our wedding night, it was great having piece of mind that she was in in good hands. She was super reliable and had great communication with us throughout the night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thanks again”

“As soon as Sonya arrived, I knew that my pup was in good hands. Her warm, calm nature was evident and Charlie took to her right away. It didn’t take him long to snuggle in with Sonya as if he knew her all his life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sonya.”

“Shelley looked after our two dogs for 3 days and two nights. The dogs really enjoyed their time with her. Shelley’s communication was great before during and after, she sent us regular updates and photos which we really loved. You can tell instantly that Shelley is kind and loves animals. “Our anxious rescue dog has separation anxiety, and Shauna kept her company while we were out for the evening. She was very easy to make arrangements with, handled the introductions to the dog and our two senior cats well, and provided updates throughout the evening. We wouldn't hesitate to book Shauna to pupsit again in future!”

About: I have owned and cared for all sorts of animals professionally my entire life. While pursuing my Bachelor's degree I continued to work with animals and study animal welfare and behaviour. I take great pride in my attentive nature and promised to go above and beyond for your pet! For the past 5 years I have specialized in senior and special needs care, ensuring that medication and therapeutic schedules are maintained while the animal's main caregiver is away. Above all, I love all animals and want to make sure that your pet is as happy as can be! I am also available to provide training and/or continue training plans for your pets so they never skip a beat! I ride and train horses professionally so I am home all day and all my pets have an active play area outside while my hands are full with the horses. Your pet will enjoy a "farm feel" house sit where their days are filled with hands on walking and hands-free play. All the pets sleep inside and are welcome to sit on the couch while we wind down with an episode of TV or two! I have a fenced yard with grass and dirt for your pet to play in. I also am comfortable with special needs cases that need to be inside or that are unable to play off leash.

About: With years of hands-on experience in professional pet care, I offer more than just walks and check-ins — I provide structure, trust, and love to every animal in my care. I specialize in positive reinforcement training and am a firm believer in using patience, consistency, and enrichment to help animals thrive both mentally and physically. As a full-time dog handler, I work Monday to Friday with a variety of breeds and temperaments, from high-energy working dogs to shy rescues. I’ve spent over 5 years house sitting, leading off-leash hikes, managing behavior-focused walks, and caring for pets with medical needs. I’m trained in Pet First Aid and experienced in administering medication, so your pet’s health and safety are never left to chance. My specialty lies in enrichment — I know how to engage your pet’s mind through play, structure, and activities tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s trail adventures, cuddle time, or calm reassurance during anxious moments, I pride myself on making every animal feel safe, understood, and loved. You’re not just hiring a sitter — you’re choosing someone who treats your pets like her own, adapts to their unique personality, and shows up with both skill and heart. I currently offer services on weekends only, but I’m available for house sitting any day of the week if your dog is comfortable staying home alone while I’m at work during the day. You’re not just hiring a sitter — you’re choosing someone who treats your pets like her own, adapts to their unique personality, and shows up with both skill and heart. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect, attention, and love as I would my own. I understand that inviting someone into your space is personal — and trusting them with your beloved animal is even more so. That’s why I go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels safe, your home stays cared for, and your routine is followed to a T. I know that being left with a stranger can be stressful for some animals — especially dogs — so I always approach them with calm, respectful energy and allow them to set the pace. I recognize that I’m a guest in their space, and I do everything in my power to make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and genuinely cared for in their familiar environment. During house sits, I also make it a priority to keep your home in excellent condition. I’m happy to water plants (indoors and garden), take care of garbage and recycling schedules, tidy up after myself and your pets, and maintain a clean, organized space for your return. I keep communication open with regular updates and am always respectful of any instructions or preferences you leave behind. I’m Pet First Aid certified, experienced in medication administration, and trained in reading animal body language — so whether you have a senior cat who needs a little extra attention or a high-energy pup who thrives on structure and affection, I can adapt to meet their needs. When you book me, you’re not just getting a sitter — you’re getting a seasoned, professional caretaker who genuinely values your pet’s comfort, your peace of mind, and the trust you’ve placed in me.

“We were so lucky to find Kristin when our previous sitter cancelled last minute for our 2 week vacation. Kristin stayed in our house to look after our 2-yr old dog and 5-yr old cat. She kept great care of the pets, and our house was tidy when we returned home. We would definitely use Kristin again and can't thank her enough for accepting our booking last minute.”

About: I have grown up taking care of dogs and horses in our farmhouse back home since i was kid. My father is a veterinarian, My love for pets is unconditional. I am currently working day job. So evenings and nights will be best for me. But we can always figure something out, so no worries. I am physically fit and active, so fully capable of taking care of your pet, can stay at your place look and take them to walks.

About: I've taken care of family dogs since a young age. I enjoy play time with big dogs in the great outdoors and have always enjoyed the physical exercise involved with keeping dogs active. I am employed full time, but my role as a quality control technician allows me a flexible work schedule with plenty of time to look after dogs throughout the week I can adapt to each pets needs as required. If they are more comfortable in their own surroundings I am flexible to meet those demands

About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. Unfortunately they make the rules around here, so I'm not allowed dogs at my place. But I'm more than happy to watch your dog in your home :) I'm also more than happy to travel around the island / southern gulf islands, so please feel free to get in touch if you're interested! If you have cats or other pets I am also happy to look after them as well / as needed. I normally do my sits alone, but when I do local sits my partner typically joins me for a meal and some dog cuddles. For longer sits he may visit on his days off, but he does not work remote so often the sits will just be me. I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety. I'm a huge animal lover, and I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I work remotely, so I'm more than happy to work from your home for the duration of the sit. I love to walk, and have done sits for both active and low energy dogs. I'm prepared to walk 20K steps a day if that's what your dog likes, but I'm also more than happy to cuddle up on the couch for hours! Working from your home could mean before work, lunch time, and after work walks. I can let your dog out as needed, which is perfect for dogs who enjoy going in and out of the backyard! As a pet parent who loves to travel internationally (most recently in Cambodia), I think about my cats multiple times a day and I enjoy getting random photos throughout the day. I also understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your pet. Happy to provide as many updates as you'd like! Or, if you'd prefer, I can stick to sending an update every few days or reach out only should I have any questions or concerns. I've been known to send out a little video or photo diary at the end of the sit, because who doesn't like to see what their pet was up to:) I'm also happy to do some extra tasks like water plants/take out garabge or recycling, receive mail etc!

My senior dog who is very picky and in the past has gone on hunger strike when we went away was totally fine and happy. Our little pup of a year was good too.
