About: I have owned a Maltese dog, one hedgehog, 2 Guinea pigs and my current Yorkiepoo. I am retired and just love animals. Have worked as Respiratory Therapist for 45 years, and want to help pet owners with the care of their "fur babes" when they are away from home. I used and loved the service so much, I wanted to help out pet owners the same way. I will be fairly flexible in availability. I have a fenced yard with one small 5.5 year old yorkie poo. Ringo is very well behaved and loves smaller dogs. Will be fine with dogs that have lower energy and are well socialized. I am retired and fairly flexible in availability. I live with my husband of 37 years, who is also retired and can assist with watching our pup, while I pay special attention to yours. I have a fenced yard and a large park in front, therefore, lots of space for special adventures . Our small Yorkiepoo walks daily off leash as well as on. We walk, at least 2 times per day. However, I will walk your furbabe as many times as deemed necessary. Our 4 level split home has lots of space for "exploring", with no off limit rooms. Supervision will be provided at all times. This includes on our furniture, which we cover with comfy blankets. We are a clean, non-smoking environment, and believe in comfort for human and pet alike.

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs since I was in high school. Growing up I helped care for dogs in my neighboured and would routinely pet sit for my aunt who has two dogs. I do have experience caring for both senior pets and animals that have complex medical needs. That being said I have experience with medication administration with animals. I have also always grown up with either dogs or cats in the home. I currently have a full-time daytime job as a counsellor. On that note as my schedule is client based, I rarely work a full 8 hour day. My hours are flexible, in that if I know about a commitment through Rover, I can block off the necessary time in advance. Currently I am available on Sundays and Mondays all day, and most weekday evenings. Depending on how far the pets are from my place of work and home, I can be flexible with offering walks even on my work days. I have experience with crating animals, so I am happy to do so if that is what your pet is used to. I will not be boarding pets in my home as I have two cats who have never been introduced to other pets in the home. I am happy have open conversations to ensure that I am following similar routines that your pet is adjusted to in your absence.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a young girl! I used to volunteer in a shelter as a teen, which then progressed into playing a larger role in a rescue now at 29 years old. I have fostered dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. Trained my own personal dogs from when they were 8 weeks old and on. I love animals and a job where I get to meet more cuties daily is the perfect job for me! They have been crate trained but now being old enough they don’t require the crate anymore. I’m very good at following directions given for taking care of animals, I’m a crazy dog mom and leave PAGES when I leave my own pups so I know how important it is to follow the rules given!

About: Hello! I am a fellow dog owner and dog lover. I had over 15 years experience as a professional service dog trainer in BC, before I moved to Alberta and started a family. Although I worked primarily with retriever-type dogs, I have experience handling many different breeds. Sadly, last year we had to say goodbye to our 2 elderly dogs, a large mixbreed and small shih tzu, who were beloved members of our family. Currently, we have 2 young and friendly money standard poodles , named Dash and Jett. I am also a certified groomer with a wide variety of experience. I have fun grooming my dogs, and welcome other grooming requests from clients. We are a young family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we love spending time outdoors and having adventures. I often miss my dog handling days, so I would love to get my dog fix through dog walking and pet sitting services. I will occasionally need to bring my children with me for drop-in visits and walks, so animals would need to be child friendly. I am able to adapt my handling style to the needs of individual dogs or by the request of owners. I am familiar with most training aids and training styles and I can easily maintain your current training and/or work on basic skills. I can provide both on and off leash dog walks depending on your location/preference. I'm currently working part-time, between 7-9AM and 2:30-4:30PM (split shifts), but I am otherwise at home and available during the week and on the weekends. I have a good sized fenced backyard that backs onto a large greenspace with plenty of trails nearby for leashed adventures. Inside my home, dogs have free run of the dining, kitchen and living areas and I'm happy to crate dogs as directed by owners. I also have a very friendly mid-sized poodle puppy to keep your dog company! To ensure that your pet is safe and comfortable, communication is key! And I will regularly send photos to keep you updated on our adventures.

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, my first ever chore was to feed the family dog and all my friends and extended family’s households have pets that I’ve taken care of at some point in time. Monday through Friday I am available from 8am to 5pm and I’m available after 10pm on weekdays. I am usually free on saturdays as well but that day can be inconsistent I can do whatever you’re comfortable with. If you have a fenced back yard and usually let them free there, I can do that. If they need to be on a leash to go for walks or need to be put in a canal when I leave I can do that aswell

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting, house sitting, plant sitting for about 6 years now for family and friends. I am happy to walk, chill, help potty train, and take care of your best friend. Whatever they need, I can typically make it happen. While I don’t usually bring dogs and cats to my personal house to respect my own pets, I do have a fenced yard in St Albert, with many trails and fields etc to take your dog to. I typically offer house-sitting with your pet, to help them stay in their own home and reduce stress. This helps keep their routine the same, resulting in a happier critter! About: I have been working with both dogs and cats since I was 11 years old and have always grown up with both ranging in different sizes breeds and temperaments . I have volunteered with many shelters in the past 13 years.I started out my first job in a dog daycare at 14 which offered in home boarding and fell in love with working with the animals, I have worked with other boarding companies both in home and in facility, dog/cat daycares with dogs ranging from small to extra large with 20-100 dogs at a time and 10-20 cats at a time. I have also worked in grooming salons with both dogs and cats I have offered services from house sitting with your animals in the comfort of their own home, daily drop ins/walks, administering medications as needed, grooming and nail trims. I am canine and feline CPR and first aid certified and can provide proof, I have also gone through different training courses that include working with behavioural animals. I take pride and passion in what I do, what I can provide you and your furry loved ones and make things as smooth as possible and always treat them as if they are my own. I currently work 15-20 hours a week in a dog/cat boarding facility with shifts no more than 4 hours a day. I do have my own animals as well but they always have 24/7 care if I am not home. I always love to keep an animals schedule, providing me that can help me make your animal feel more comfortable in my care and make you feel at ease knowing they have that stability as if you were home. Doing daily walks, exercise, stimulating activities or just lounging around and doing minimal exercise if that is what they need.
