I work full-time Monday-Friday, but am available in the evenings and weekends. I’m okay with adding additional furry members to my household while you travel and/or dropping in to check on them in the comfort if their own home. Full disclaimer: I have a senior dog, a cat, and school-aged children. Everyone in my household is friendly with both dogs and cats. My yard is fenced (4ft, chain-link) and dogs have access to a screened in porch if they prefer staying outdoors during the day. I’m more than happy to keep them inside, either crated or not, depending on your preferences.

“Adam and Amanda are absolute gems! My high-energy dog Bentley stayed with them for a week, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He came back completely exhausted and slept for two straight days—which is saying a lot for him! They gave him tons of love, attention, and exercise. They played with him, kept him busy, and made sure he was both physically active and emotionally cared for. Bentley is not the easiest dog—he’s affectionate, a bit needy, and needs a lot of stimulation—but they totally knocked it out of the park. I felt so at peace on vacation knowing he was in good hands. They stayed in communication every day, sending photos and videos, and any time I had a question, they responded right away. We were so impressed that just four days after getting back from vacation, we needed a day at Kings Dominion and asked if Bentley could come back. They welcomed him right back into their home—and he charged into the house, absolutely thrilled to be there. That said it all! I absolutely recommend Adam and Amanda.
