Rosie’s Dog Beach
5000 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803
Unclip that leash and let your little furball run free on this 3 acre off-leash stretch along Granada Beach. You and your pup can splash, fetch, and meet other friendly dogs and owners. Because of the break water the waves here a gentler for less confident four-legged swimmers.
If your pup still has energy, you can take him for an on-leash run along the paved trail that runs the length of Granada Beach. If you’d rather take a break, Rosie’s Dog Beach is in the heart of Long Beach with plenty of nearby dog-friendly restaurants.
The off-leash area runs between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues on Ocean Boulevard. Plentiful parking is metered in the Granada Beach lot or along Ocean Boulevard. Remember to bring scoop bags and your own water.
Need to leave your dog in Long Beach while you travel? Rest easy knowing that you can easily hire a local dog boarder who will be happy to take care of your pup.
