Hospital Therapy Dogs Get Hitched in Adorable Ceremony

It was love at first bark when therapy dogs Peaches and Duke took their work relationship to the next level.

And while some matches are made in heaven with champagne and roses, these two adorable canines split a Puppuccino at the hospital Starbucks, and then the cat was out of the bag.

A Walk Down the Aisle

The adorable Golden Retrievers work at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s Physical Medicine Department in Mansfield, Texas. They are registered with Pet Partners, an organization that demonstrates and promotes the benefits of animal-assisted interventions.

We Do!

Rumor had it, and tails were wagging that a canine romance was evident because these two could not keep their paws off one another. When not working as therapy dogs, they were often found snuggling together and kissing. It was time to make it official, so a wedding was in order.

Beautiful Bride

And like any other nuptials, the bride wore a pretty white dress and a garter around her paw, and the groom donned a dapper tuxedo. They had a traditional ceremony officiated by one of the hospital’s very own pastors. Staff members and patients were in attendance to witness the blessed event.

Just  Married

Following the ceremony and “I Dos,” the happy couple was seen chowing down on their wedding cake while guests snapped cute photos of the beaming couple.

Making Smiles

With their busy schedules, the canine duo didn’t have much time for a honeymoon. But they were together back at work, helping patients to relax and get through rehabilitation and bringing lots of smiles.
