Warmer weather means more time playing outside with your dog. And when you’re ready to cool off, why not bust out the blender and some frozen fruit to create a refreshing treat for both of you?
You can serve these recipes extra-thick like a sherbet, or smooth and sippable like a slushie, just by adjusting the liquid you add when blending.
It’s all so delicious!
Fruity Pibble’s Punch
We wanted to create a throwback flavor to those Hi-C Fruit Punch days of childhood without all the added sugar. Pineapple, strawberry, and watermelon combine to create something like that first day of summer break.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup watermelon
- 1/4 cup pineapple
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 2 strawberries
- 1/4 cup cold water (adjust according to your preference)
Instructions
Add fruit and water to your blender and blitz until fruit is completely crushed.
Serve in bowl or wide-mouthed cup.

Ingredients
For the bottom layer:
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup cold milk
For the top layer:
- 1/2 cup non-fat yogurt or thickened goat milk (we used powdered goat milk and added 2 scoops of powder to 1/2 cup water for a nice thick and creamy layer)
We used goat milk but you can use whatever (you or) your dog likes best. Great options include coconut milk, non-fat yogurt, or regular old cow milk if your dog’s digestion allows it.
Instructions
Blend the berries and milk to a nice and thick consistency.
Place in your serving bows making sure there’s enough room for the top layer.
Carefully spoon creamy topping onto berry layer.
Swill the blue into the white a little if you’re feeling fancy.
Honeydoodle Dew
The smell of fresh cut grass, refreshing melon, and a hint of mint combine to form a summer supergroup in your mouth. If your dog loves nibbling fresh grass, she’ll really be into this concoction.

- 1/2 cup frozen honeydew melon
- drop of honey
- 1/4 cup goat milk
- 2 mint leaves
- Optional: A pinch of powdered chlorophyll
- Optional: Mint leaf garnish

Instructions
Finely dice two fresh mint leaves or crumble a healthy pinch of dried mint and add to blender.
Add the honeydew, honey, milk, and chlorophyll if using and blend until smooth.
Pour into serving dishes and garnish with a mint leaf.
Creamy Cantaloupe Cooler
This creamy-sweet frozen drink tastes like brunch in the spring with a whole weekend of lazy fun in your future.

Instructions
Combine cantaloupe and yogurt in the blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour into serving bowls and garnish with a petite sprig of rosemary if you’re feeling fancy.
