Watch this space! Periodically, we’ll publish articles like this one to keep you up-to-date on the latest and greatest technical improvements at Rover. When we can, we’ll also give you a sneak peek at what we’re cooking up for the future, so stay tuned!
Here’s what’s been updated recently:
- Review counts. We’ve made updates to the back-end system that supports reviews and review counts. Here’s what this means for you: Your review count may be higher than the number of listed reviews on your profile – for example, your review count is 5, but your page shows only 4 reviews. This is because owners can leave reviews with stars and comments, or just stars. Both are included in your review count, but only the reviews with comments are shown on your page.
- DogVacay integration. We’ve finalized the migration of all DogVacay stay information and details to Rover systems. Here’s what this means for you: Our systems are now fully integrated and include combined resources from both companies which allows us to provide better support to all Rover sitters and owners.
- App Updates. We’ve improved both the iOS and Android Rover apps – both small improvements and bug fixes. Here’s what this means for you: The battery usage on the iOS app is dramatically improved, meaning more walks, conversations and pictures sent without needing to recharge!
