Semper’s mentor Melnic
Semper isn’t Olympia PD’s only famous K9, either. Melnic, a patrol dog, is known for his yearly “Where’s Melnic” scavenger hunt, when kids can win a pawtographed photo and a chance to meet Melnic. He makes frequent visits in the community, from library reading events to art walks.
