As part of Rover’s continued efforts to build a safe and healthy experience for pets and the parents who love them, we are implementing a few safety and hygiene protocols. Professional groomers who list their services on Rover from “Bath & Brush” to a “Full Groom,” are required to follow these new standards. These measures were informed by state protocols for brick and mortar grooming salons, as well as COVID-19 related CDC guidelines.
Groomers on Rover must:
- Wear facial coverings when providing grooming services in a client’s home.
- Wash and sanitize all grooming tools between clients.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment / surfaces in a client’s home that were used during the grooming appointment.
- Maintain 6-feet of distance from clients (whenever possible) when inside their home.
All groomers have been notified and must confirm that they will follow these protocols to continue offering grooming on Rover. This means you can ensure your groomer has agreed to follow the safety measures if you book with them.
