November is a time for growth, which may be hard if we aren’t ready or wanting to evolve. The only way out of a lot of situations and relationships is through them, so be prepared to leave the past behind and embrace the possibility of a fresh start.

These are the key astrological dates for November 2021:

  • Communication planet Mercury enters inquisitive Scorpio on November 5, encouraging constructive dialogue.
  • Romantic Venus moves into hard working Capricorn on November 5, urging us to give our all to romance.
  • The lunar eclipse in Taurus occurs on November 19 and asks us to commit to what we love.
  • The sun enters Sagittarius on November 21, adding adventure and passion to our lives.
  • Mercury enters Sagittarius on November 24, giving communication power, pop, and sizzle.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Stop playing mind and manipulation games with your mom and dad during the new moon in Scorpio on November 4th. You’re not looking to create problems, so stop acting like there’s some power struggle—there isn’t, and it will be obvious during the lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 19th. Instead, use your power of cuteness and charisma to create order, structure, and to make your intentions known to your pet parents.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Although you’ve been crushing on a cute critter at the dog park for months, now you are realizing that you’re not really ready to level up the situation—at least not yet. Use the Scorpio new moon on November 4th as a time to change the dynamic and make it friendly. The platonic vibe will be useful when Venus enters Capricorn on November 5th, and again during the lunar eclipse on November 19th.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

As a mercurial creature, you ride the wave of your whims, so learning how to properly express yourself is very important. This month, however, Mercury’s glide into Scorpio on November 5th is making you less vocal and more introspective. Use this time to feel your feelings and gain clarity on your emotions. You’ll gain the key to communication on November 24th when Mercury enters Sagittarius.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

The new moon on November 4th in Scorpio allows you to embrace your passionate, playful side, which means you’ll be finding inventive ways to express yourself. Before you make a mess of all your chew toys or run amuck in the park, find a pal to share the fun with, or wait for the lunar eclipse on November 19th in Taurus for your partner-in-crime to join the excitement.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

The moment you put yourself first, the better you’ll feel when having to make tough decisions. The new moon on November 4 and the lunar eclipse on November 19th will create situations where others are put in front of you, which means that you’ll have to double down on self-love and care. Take extra catnaps and spend more time relaxing than worrying about what others are doing. You’ll be restored when the sun enters Sagittarius on the 21st.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

The ideas of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are urging you to break free from your normal habits during the Scorpio new moon on November 4th and Taurus lunar eclipse on November 19th. You want to shake things up—like your daily, boring kibble. Yes, you can have some of what they’re having—like pumpkin, turkey, and green beans. November 5th and 24th are the days when you’ll most likely get your wish.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

You’re realizing more than ever that boundaries are an essential part of relationships. The new moon in Scorpio on November 4th, Venus’s ingress into Capricorn on November 5th, and the lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 19th give you the opportunity to keep and set limits with others. This will come in handy when you’re being pushed to do things you don’t want to or when your pet parents forget to take you out for a walk.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

It may be hard for you to know who you can trust and count on during the new moon on November 4th (not super shocking, considering you’re always suspicious of everyone until you know them on an intimate level). Don’t give up hope! You will trust again. The good news is that you’ll align with righteous members of your crew and find comfort in hanging out with your pet parents during the lunar eclipse on November 19th.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

You are taking time away from the social scene and focusing on relaxing—especially during the new moon in Scorpio on November 4th. The caveat is that this may take you farther away from focusing on mundane tasks and wanting to sleep in your pet bed all day long. Don’t get too lazy that you forget about the world around you, as this can create minor issues during the lunar eclipse on November 19th.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

The New Moon in Scorpio on November 4th is shaking up your friendships, while bringing you closer with your true ride-or-dies. Prepare to let go of relationships that aren’t letting you live your truest and best life. If a fellow canine or feline who you love isn’t being supportive, then it’s time to energetically cut the cord. Doing so will take you into a better place on November 19th’s lunar eclipse in Taurus.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

You’ve been longing for change for some time and now you will finally have the excitement you crave. The only issue is that it may not be in the way that you want. Watch out for unnecessary drama during the Scorpio new moon on November 4th and the Taurus lunar eclipse on November 19th. The vibe will be chill if you can avoid the frustrations that come with growing pains and lean into total transformation.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

There may be a salty exchange that leaves you irritated during the new moon on November 4th and Mercury’s planetary ingress into Scorpio on November 5th. The salacious interaction won’t be healed until the lunar eclipse on November 19th. Even then, there will be lingering and unresolved feelings until Mercury remedies the vibe on November 24th, when the planet of communication enters Sagittarius and starts to let go of past drama.
