Meet the biggest dog to ever win the Ugliest Dog Contest, which is held annually at the Sonoma County Fair. The contest is a playful take on dog shows and helps raise awareness for dogs in need.
This year’s winner, Martha, is a 3 year-old Neapolitan mastiff rescue who hails from Sebastopol, CA.

Shirley Zindler adopted Martha from the Dogwood Animal Rescue Project in Sonoma County. Martha was brought to Dogwood with serious eye issues from neglect, which required multiple surgeries to correct.
