A very special K9 officer named Bear was honored recently by the ASPCA for using his special skills to track down child pornographers.
Congratulations Bear and Ian!

Bear, a Lab mix rescue, is trained to alert for a very particular chemical compound associated with electronic devices like cell phones, memory cards, hard drives, and laptop computers.
How Bear does his thing
Bear trained for a year to develop his very special nose and works daily with his handler, detective Ian Polhemus, to hone his special sniffing skills. And that hard work has paid off. The very good dog has used his nose in over 125 cases, including bringing Jared Fogle of Subway fame to justice.
You deserve it Bear!
